Dear Lauren,
I'm sorry to hear about your Uncle Ron. I know he meant a lot to you and the rest of the family. He has to be proud of you being able to make a special quilt in his memory. I bet it feels like he is still around you and sometime you think you hear his voice when the wind blows outside. You just have to live life to the fullest and dedicate each activity you would do to Uncle Ron by saying, "I know Uncle Ron would've like this". Do you know that you're a strong brave girl? Since you made the quilt it is like having Uncle Ron's big strong arms cradling you again like he has never left you. I can relate to you in a way because when my uncle had passed and when I used to get sad, I would play his song he had written to make it feel as if he is still around. Even until this day, I would start missing and a tear would come to eye knowing that he smiling down on me because I've made him proud with my accomplishments. I think you should make your Uncle Ron proud as well.
Love,
Shamequa
