I really enjoyed reading the story Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst. This is my favorite story from this semester because I feel like this is a story anyone, any age can relate to. As I was reading the story, I couldn’t help but think of myself because I can remember being in the same place as alexander and feeling the same way he does. I think we have all had those days where we’re not awake for even ten minutes and we already know we should just go back to sleep because this is not going to be a good day. But, like alexander, we have obligations and we have to continue our day in hopes it will get better. I think this story is a great book to read to kids especially if they are having a rough day because it can help them to realize that everyone has bad days and they just have to remember it’s a bad day not a bad life.
