Sylvester Duncan is about a child that is continually searching for bizarre looking stones to add to his accumulation. One Saturday amid his get-away he found a blazing red stone that looked simply like a marble, what he didn't know is that it had enchanted forces. Sylvester tried the stones enchantment on changing the climate before going to demonstrate his family. The main thing he could consider on his walk was the manner by which everybody could have anything they have ever needed. Be that as it may, in transit home he kept running into an eager lion, he froze and wished he were a stone. Sylvester stayed a stone for quite a long time until his folks one spring day had an outing on the stone. The Duncan's found the red rock and wished Sylvester was with them without knowing the enchantment of the stone, all of a sudden he transformed into his old self once more. The family didn't wind up requiring the enchantment rock all things considered; everything they would ever wish for was Sylvester. This children's story for me wasn't my favorite just because it was so unrealistic compared to many others I've read. But, i in fact believe that this is a good story of children to read because it allows them to use there imagination, and expand there thoughts. I really think young children would understand this book the most.
